Description: Sgt. Karn Macht Search & Rescue provides rescue services for the citizens of Archuleta and Southern Hinsdale counties, and other neighboring counties that request our assistance. We provide High Angle Rescue, Swiftwater Rescue, Ice Rescue, Medical Rescue, along with many other services. SAR is made up of volunteers who spend many hours away from their homes and loved ones to train and save lives without any compensation other than the satisfaction of helping others. .
