The landfill provides a solid waste facility for Eagle County residents and an environmentally safe containment area for all acceptable refuse while insuring compliance with all federal, state, and county regulations.

Location: Eagle County Landfill is located two miles north of Wolcott off of Highway 131.
Directions: Turn right from Highway 131 just past the two mile marker onto County Road 49. Follow this road until it forks, about a mile, and take the left fork. This will bring you directly to the landfill office and scale.

Hours of Operation:
Monday 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Tuesday - Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Saturday 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
