An independent youth orchestra dedicated to providing a challenging and nurturing environment for young musicians of northern Colorado and southern Wyoming to study and perform the great orchestral masterworks. It is composed of students, ages 12-22, who join the Orchestra through a competitive audition process. The Orchestra was founded in 1995 as an intensive summer program, but now additionally offers a spring orchestra session and a fall chamber music program. Rehearsals and performances are held in Fort Collins, Greeley and Loveland.
